RULES FOR STUDENTS AND GUARDIANS
CLASSES AND ATTENDANCE
As per rules of the University of Calcutta, a student must attend a minimum of 75% of the total number of lectures delivered plus tutorial in each subject in order to be eligible for appearing the University examination as a regular, student.
The discipline of a College plays an important role in imparting good education among the students. The College, therefore, seeks co-operation of all students, guardians in the matter of strict observance of the rules of academic discipline. A student may even be expelled from the college on the grounds of violation of rules, indiscipline, misconduct and such other activities. Smoking, spitting inside the college premises, loitering on the corridor, shouting or screaming, use of mobile phones, etc. are strictly prohibited.
The college conducts examinations as per the Calcutta University instructions. Unit Tests and Class Tests are held in the college. Appearing in the unit tests and class tests are mandatory for students. To be properly informed about different circulars issued by the University, to be registered with the University on time, and to have information of the University Examinations and filling up of forms, etc, the students are asked to attend college regularly and get in touch with the college office. The College can not be held responsible on those matters for any lapse on the students’ part.
FEES AND FINE
TO FOLLOW THE NOTICE BOARD
Students must abide by every notice issued to them. They must follow the notice board regularly and carefully while entering and leaving the college. No excuse shall be entertained if the notices are ignored or overlooked.
A student seeking transfer at any time in his / her whole course of studies shall have to pay all annual charges in full plus the transfer fee.
Since the College is a Religious (Muslim) Minority Institution of higher learning under Article 30 of the Constitution of India, there is not any form of student Union nor there shall be any form of student union in the College.
